Coolidge Square
A residential neighborhood with tree-lined streets, Colonials and Capes, and a small commercial cluster with local businesses.
About Coolidge Square
Coolidge Square represents the western, more suburban side of Watertown. The streets are a bit wider, the lots a bit larger, and the pace noticeably calmer than the eastern end of town. Arsenal Yards is the major draw here — the mixed-use development has brought a Majestic Cinema, restaurants, and retail to what was formerly a decommissioned military arsenal. The adjacent Charles River paths provide recreation, and the residential neighborhoods nearby offer some of Watertown's most desirable single-family homes. It's Watertown for people who want a little more breathing room.
Property Character
A better mix of single-family homes alongside multi-families. Lots are slightly larger, and some streets have a more traditional suburban feel. New construction condos at Arsenal Yards add modern inventory.
